Allyson [Ally] Spafford begins her second season as a graduate assistant coach on the Daemen women's soccer staff in 2019. In this role, Spafford assists with all facets of the program, including on-field coaching, scouting of opponents and recruiting.
"Allyson will be a great addition to our staff," said head coach Dan Dolan at the time of Spafford's hiring prior to the 2018 season. "She has experience at the Division I level and a great background in fitness and training that will help bring a competitive mentality and passion to our team."
Spafford came to Daemen from Texas A&M University-Kingsville where she served as a graduate assistant in the campus recreation office and as a strength and conditioning intern during the 2017-18 academic year. Spafford holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, Health and Fitness from Texas Christian University. The Laguna Hills, California native transferred to TCU after starting her collegiate years at Old Dominion University where she played one season on the women's soccer team.
