2025-26 (FRESHMAN)
First Team All-ECC...played and started all 18 of Daemen's matches, logging 1,482 minutes…finished with 13 points, recording five goals and three assists...finished third on the team in goals and points and was tied for fourth in assists...was tied for ninth in the ECC in goals and tied for eighth in points...sored her first career goal in victory over St. Thomas Aquinas (Sept. 20)...notched the game-winning goal and an assist vs Roberts Wesleyan (Sept. 24)...tallied a goal in win over Roberts Wesleyan (Oct. 1) and recorded a goal vs Molloy (Oct. 18)...also added a goal in ECC tournament win over Queens (Nov. 6)…registered an assist vs Staten Island (Nov. 1).

BEFORE DAEMEN
A three-year letter-winner in soccer at Rock Canyon High School where she played for the Jaguars and coach Sean Kelly... led the team to back-to-back state championship game appearances at the Class 5A level... earned numerous academic distinctions, including National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, AP Scholar with Honor, Highest Academic Honor Roll, AP Capstone Program Certificate, STEM Certificate... also competed in club soccer for Colorado United Girls Academy.

Born Macayla Kylee Hansen on August 25, 2006 in Highlands Ranch, Colo.... daughter of Michael and Tawny Hansen... has one sibling, Brecken... hobbies include shadowing a physical therapist, walking her dog and cheering for friends at their sporting events... bucket list includes climbing a mountain, going on a cruise and traveling abroad... favorite TV show is Hard Knocks... favorite movie is Happy Gilmore... favorite musical artist is Lorde... favorite holiday is Independence Day... favorite vacation spot is Vail, Colo... dream job is to be a sports physician... chose to attend Daemen because "the moment I stepped onto campus, it felt like home away from home. I wanted an academically challenging and athletically competitive environment that would push me to become the best version of myself. The rigorous science program, the tight-knit community, and the supportive soccer family were all important factors in making Daemen the perfect fit for me."
