Born Zainab Muataz Khalid on Feb. 9, 2008 to Michael Khalid in Najaf, Iraq... has one older brother, Issa, who plays collegiate soccer at Alfred University... played three years of varsity soccer at Fairport HS under head coach Thomas Natalie as well as ran two years of varsity track... helped Fairport to three Section 3 championships and two regional championships... was a Scholar Athlete in high school... majoring in Biology... chose to attend Daemen because "it's somewhere I will be able to grow both as an athlete and student. It has everything I wanted in a school - a competitive soccer environment and a good academic environment."
