In a 111-90 win over Ohio Valley University on Nov. 8, Ogbonna made the first start of his career and responded with a 17-point, 14-rebound performance.  He added 10 points and a career-best 18 rebounds in the Wildcats' 59-56 defeat of Goldey-Beacom College the next day.
Ogbonna narrowly missed a third straight double-double after notching nine points and 11 rebounds during a 66-56 loss at the University of California-San Diego on Nov. 15. Â With 15 points and seven rebounds on Nov. 23, Ogbonna helped Daemen erase a two-game slide while capturing the program's 25th consecutive home win and its first-ever defeat of Mercyhurst University in 15 tries.
