ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Daemen Wildcats picked up their second consecutive road victory on Tuesday night by handing the Roberts Wesleyan Raiders a 63-49 defeat at the Voller Athletic Center. The win moves Daemen to 2-1 in American Mideast Conference play (4-7 overall) while the Raiders fall to 6-5, 1-1.
Senior guard
Mujeeb Oridami sparked the Wildcat offense to the tune of a career-high 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field. Included in Oridami's array of baskets were three makes from three-point range.
Senior forward
Khorri Silcott was next as he put home 11 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. Junior Dominic Mazzocchi added 10 points to the Wildcats cause.
The Raiders, who played without starters Dan Foley and Alif Bland due to injuries, were led by big man Jordan Heath with 19 points and 12 boards. Justin Andreozzi added 12 points and Rashaa Stokelin chipped in with 10.
The Wildcats are back in action at home this Saturday when they face AMC foe Wilberforce at 4pm.
