FULL MEN'S RESULTS
OBERLIN, Ohio - After a two week hiatus, the Daemen College men's and women's cross-country teams were back in action today as they partook in the Inter-Regional Rumble Open hosted by Oberlin College. The Daemen women came in eighth place out of 14 competing teams while the men finished in 12th out of 20. The Edinboro Fighting Scots swept the event topping the team standings in both genders while providing the two race winners as well.
Jordan Weir (Cato, NY/Cato-Meridian HS) continued her strong freshman season for the Wildcats as she finished the women's 6K race in 23:52.90 - good enough for 22nd place out of 155 runners.
Noelle Thompson (Vestal, NY/Vestal HS) was next in for the Wildcats in 38th place at 24:29.20.
Zac Ekdahl (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman HS) paced the Daemen men with his 8K time of 27:14.40, putting him at 51st place out of 191 competitors.
The Wildcats will get one more race down in preparation for the USCAA National Championships (Nov. 8) when they travel to Aurora, NY next weekend for the Wells College Invitational.
