CANTON, NY - One week after blanking the SUNY Canton Kangaroos 1-0, the Daemen Wildcats suffered the same fate as the two teams renewed their rivalry today, with the home-standing Kangaroos able to split the season series.

The Kangaroos' Shane Powell scored on a penalty kick in the 55th minute and the lone goal stood up throughout the second half.

Daemen held a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal, but all six strikes were turned away by SUNY Canton's William Banahene.

Sophomore Matt Daddario (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) made three stops between the pipes for Daemen to help keep it at just a one-goal deficit.

The loss ends Daemen's season at 4-9 overall while SUNY Canton pulled even at 8-8-1.
