HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The Daemen Wildcats cross-country teams were back in action at a familiar event this afternoon as they partook in the Highlander Invitational hosted by former conference rival Houghton College. The Daemen men were led by junior
Ethan Dinan (Geneva, NY/Geneva HS) who came in at 27:35.78 to finish in 16th place out of 130 participants, marking the second time he's led the team in three outings so far this season. Not far behind was teammate
Zac Ekdahl (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman HS) who finished in 21st overall at 27:45.69.
The Brockport Golden Eagles took the men's 8K race with a low team score of 19. The Golden Eagles placed five runners in the top eight finishers. Unattached runner Josh Guarino was the top individual finisher at 25:35.22.
On the women's side, freshman
