AVE MARIA, Fla. - Tonight's men's basketball game between Daemen College and Ohio Mid-Western University on the opening day of the Ave Maria University Classic has been cancelled.  Ohio Mid-Western experienced traveling issues on their way to south Florida and was unable to complete the trip.

The result is a 2-0 victory for Daemen via OMU's forfeit.  Daemen's record now stands at 17-4 on the season.

The Wildcats will compete in the AMU Classic tomorrow night (Jan. 4) when they face Virginia University of Lynchburg at 5 p.m. before taking on the host Gyrenes on Saturday (Jan. 5) at 7:30 p.m.  VUL and AMU will play tonight at 7:30 p.m. as well.
