Box Score SPARKILL, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at Spartan Field to East Coast Conference opponent St. Thomas Aquinas College this afternoon.
The Spartan's Michael Corbi was the only player to put a point on the board in the first half when he scored in the 32
nd minute of the game off assists from Julius Werner and Laurie Child.
St. Thomas then got two back-to-back second half tallies from Julius Werner and Jack Legg which
was enough for the hosts to take home the win. Werner earned his goal in the 64
th minute after heading the ball in off a corner kick from Legg. Legg then scored two minutes later to make it 3-0 in favor of the Spartans after receiving a pass from Robert Stevens.
The Spartans launched 30 total shots in the game putting 19 of them on goal while Daemen had nine of their 17 shots on frame.

Daniel Romer (Amsterdam, Netherlands / St. Nicolas Lyceum) made a career high of 12 saves for the Wildcats while teammate
Matt Daddario (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) made three stops between the pipes for Daemen. Nathan Mangione made six saves for the Spartans while partner Aiden Tansey made three saves to take home the shutout for the hosts.
The loss ends Daemen's season at 4-13-1 (0-9-1 ECC) overall while St. Thomas almost pulled even at 7-8-1 (4-6 ECC).
