SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's soccer team couldn't keep the momentum rolling from their season-opening double overtime win on Thursday night, falling today to perennial east region powerhouse Le Moyne College 3-0 at Ted Grant Field.  With the loss, Daemen drops to 1-1 on the young season while LC improves to 1-1.

Emmanuel Chanelo got the host Dolphins on the board in the 11th minute.  Zachary McNabb sent a pass into the goal-area from the left end line that was deflected by Daemen goalkeeper Matt Daddario (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home), but Chanelo was "Johnny-on-the-spot"  and hit the deflected ball into the goal from six yards out.

It looked as if the deficit would remain at just one for Daemen heading into halftime, but Le Moyne was awarded a penalty kick when Connor Biolsi was hauled down in the box.  LC's Cal Filtch made good on the penalty kick attempt, putting the Dolphins ahead 2-0 in the 39th minute.

Le Moyne added a late goal from Keleenna Onyeaka off a pass from Filtch in the 87th minute to provide the final margin.

Daddario made six saves between the pipes for the Wildcats.  His counterpart, Matthew Silva, made two saves to earn the victory for Le Moyne.

Daemen will look to regroup quickly as they'll host the University of Maine-Fort Kent - one of the top United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) teams in the land - tomorrow in their home opener.  Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. from Dimp Wagner Stadium.
