Cole Beale(Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) scored the game winning goal in the 103
rd minute to give the Wildcats a thrilling 2-1 victory in double overtime over East Coast Conference contender St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Beale broke loose up the middle and took the ball to the right side of the box, fighting off a STAC defender and shooting past Spartans' goalkeeper Aidan Tansey. Beale's tally delivered the Wildcats' first-ever ECC victory.

Mark Spacone, the Wildcats' fourth-year head coach, afterwards. "I thought we played our system pretty well especially in the rain and to be rewarded with a win in this fashion is awesome."
Both teams went scoreless in the first half and it looked as if the Wildcats were going to come away victorious in regulation after senior

But, STAC's Michael Corbi knotted the score 1-1 in the 87
th minute after receiving a crossing pass from teammate Julius Werner which ultimately, sent the game to overtime.
The visitors launched 19 total shots but placed just six on frame while the Wildcats attempted 15 total shots placing 10 of them on goal. Senior goalkeeper
Matt Daddario(Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) made five saves to earn the win between the pipes, his fourth of the year.
A physical affair, the two teams combined for three yellow cards and a total of 38 total fouls in the match.
Today's result was the Wildcats' first win in overtime since defeating Buffalo State College 2-1 on Sept. 14, 2013, snapping a three-game winless streak (0-2-1) in such games.
Daemen looks to get back to .500 when they host cross-town rival and East Coast Conference opponent Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday, Oct. 11.
