FULL RESULTSERIE, Pa. - The Daemen College women's cross country team ran their way to a runner-up finish for the second consecutive race today, doing so at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational at Behrend Fields this morning. The Wildcats finished with 89 points in the team standings, besting third-place finisher Point Park University (101) by 12. The University of Mount Union was far away the top team, finishing with 21 points after seeing all five of their scorers place in the top nine.
Daemen was paced by sophomore
Mackenzie Donahue (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) who finished the 5K race in 19:36.4. She came in fourth place overall and was one of just six runners to complete the course in under 20 minutes. For Donahue, it's the eighth top-10 finish of her career, having accomplished the feat in every she's entered thus far.

Hannah Rice (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) who came in 11th place with a time of 20:15.3. Freshman
Amy Trabert (Amherst, N.Y./Amherst) continued her fine rookie season with a 23rd-place finish (20:42.1) as well.

Wendy Neville (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois Central) and sophomore
Brittany Denton (Oakfield, N.Y./Oakfield-Alabama) rounded out the scorers for Daemen, finishing in 32nd and 35th places, respectively.
The top individual finisher was Mount Union's Brooke Mathie who completed the course in 19:09.3.
Daemen gets back to racing on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Talon Invitational hosted by East Coast Conference favorite Roberts Wesleyan College.
