WILMINGTON, Del. - The Daemen College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Goldey-Beacom College, a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference of NCAA DII, this afternoon. With the loss, Daemen falls to 0-3 on the season while the Lighting picked up their second straight win of the season to go 2-0.

"We competed hard this weekend but can up short," said head coach Stephen Beatty. "I'm happy with the progress the team is making and we look forward to next week's matches."

The Wildcats will host East Coast Conference cross town rival Roberts Wesleyan College at the Park Country Club on Wednesday, Sept. 10 for a 4:00 p.m. match.
