Senior Fabian Wilde (Crimmitschau, Germany) continues to rise in Daemen's all-time record books. Already this season, Wilde has pulled himself into a tie with Gregory Lowe for fourth on Daemen's career wins list (combined singles/doubles). He recorded his 62nd career win at the ITA East Region Championships in mid-September. Wilde has also tied Lowe for third in career singles wins (32) and fifth in career doubles wins (30). He is one of only four players in program history to record at least 30 singles wins, and one of six to post at least 30 doubles wins. He will also move past John LeMar for career singles appearances this weekend. 2. Merrimack is in its first season as a member of the Northeast Conference after transitioning from Division II to Division I. The Warriors were traditionally one of the top Division II programs in the East Region, competing as members of the Northeast-10 Conference. Merrimack has posted a .500 record or better in 15 consecutive seasons, reaching 10 wins 14 times in that span. Several players return from their 2018-19 team that went 17-10 overall, including senior Denis Davydov who posted a team-high 17 singles wins. Saturday's action marks their first dual match of the season after partaking in the UConn Invitational and hosting the Merrimack Invitational last month. 3. Daemen's Sunday opponent, Southern New Hampshire, has claimed four of the last five Northeast-10 Conference championships. The Penmen are coming off a 17-3 campaign in 2018-19 which culminated with an appearance in the NCAA tournament round of 16. Although three-time NE-10 Player of the Year Tiago Fernandes has moved on via graduation, seniors Bas van Biezen (16-4 in singles play last season) and Willem van Biezen (12-5 singles) and sophomore Emmanuel Vacalares (17-4 singles) return to lead the way. SNHU is off to a 2-0 start this season with wins over Colby-Sawyer and Post. Print Friendly Version Related Videos Now Playing: Play Video Related Stories 10.19.25 Men's Tennis Closes Fall Season With Road Win 10.11.25 Men's Tennis Falls at Ithaca 10.01.25 Men's Tennis Falls At RIT 09.28.25 Men's Tennis Earns First Win Over Nazareth
