Daemen Cheerleaders Place First At Epic Tour Competition 3/30/2019 6:55:00 PM ALBANY, N.Y. - The Daemen College cheerleading squad earned their third first-place finish of the season today, out-performing the likes of SUNY Purchase and SUNY Oneonta at the Epic Athlete Tour Competition held at SUNY Albany. The Wildcats' performance drew a score of 90.97, and they earned the title of grand champions for the entire college division, beating out six total teams for the crown. As a grand champion team, the Wildcats, under the direction of head coach Brianna Aichinger, have earned a qualifying bid to the Epic Athlete Tour U.S. Finals. Daemen earned first-place finishes last month at the Angel Cheer and Dance Championship and the Rock the Falls International Championship. The 2018-19 season marks their first as a varsity team in Daemen's stable, following a long history as a club team at the college.
