AMHERST, N.Y. -- The Daemen University cheerleading squad won their only competition of the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon, taking home the First Place and Level Championship trophy at the SUNY Fredonia Spring Fling.

The Wildcats scored a 60.25 in the Advanced Open All-Girl Collegiate Division, which also accounted for the overall high score for all collegiate divisions at the competition. 

Fielding a team of 10, the Wildcats overcame injuries and impressed in their sole competition of the season, setting themselves up for a successful year in 2026.
