ROCHESTER, N.Y.. - Redshirt senior center Andrew Sischo (Guilderland, N.Y.) was dominant from start to finish as he compiled 42 points and 17 rebounds - the 50th double-double of his career - while leading Daemen to their first win of the season, a 93-86 final over long-time rival Roberts Wesleyan at the Voller Athletic Center tonight. The pace of the game quickened with the Redhawks employing a full court press to aide their comeback efforts. Hines' second three-pointer of the period came at the 5:25 mark after the Redhawks had pulled within a dozen points, and it was followed by a fastbreak dunk from Sischo which put Daemen ahwad 84-67. It was announced earlier today that the game would be rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11.
