ERIE, Pa. - Behind four second half goals in just over an 11-minute span, Mercyhurst spoiled Daemen men's soccer's return to the pitch with a 4-0 victory in exhibition action Saturday afternoon on the Mercyhurst campus. This was Daemen's first game since their matchup on March 27 against Roberts Wesleyan after their games against both Medaille and D'Youville were recently postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within those respective programs.

After a scoreless first half, Mercyhurst took a 1-0 lead at the 47:43 mark. The hosts continued their scoring at the 52:24 mark to take a 2-0 lead. Mercyhurst followed up on this goal roughly three minutes later to take a 3-0 lead. The final goal of the afternoon from Mercyhurst found the back of the net at the 59:05 mark.

With the game played under exhibition rules, Daemen remains 0-2-0 on the year.

Final statistics were not provided by Mercyhurst at this time.
