AMHERST, NY – On March 27, Daemen men's soccer lost to Roberts Wesleyan, 4-2, on the road in Rochester. But after making some adjustments over the course of the month and following a 2-0 victory against Medaille on April 15, their last match prior to Sunday, the Wildcats had some momentum heading into their home finale against the Redhawks.
Behind three goals all scored before the 30th minute of play and a performance for the ages from goaltender
Marcos Lerma Escobar (Zaragoza, Spain), Daemen men's soccer defeated their long-time East Coast Conference rival, 3-1, for their second consecutive win of the shortened spring season.
With the victory today, Daemen men's soccer improves to 2-2 while RWC drops to 3-2 overall.
