The visiting Spartans outshot the Wildcats 15-10, and netted the game's only goal - a strike from Kevon Evans after taking a feed from Christian Ferlisi at the 52:19 mark. The win keeps the Spartans unblemished thus far in conference play (6-0-1), vaulting them to the top of the ECC standings, while sitting at 9-2-3 overall. The Wildcats dropped to 2-10-1 overall and 1-5-0 in ECC play. HIGHLIGHTS Daemen held a brief pregame ceremony to recognize their six graduating seniors. Alexander Khademi, Dennis Montero Guerrero, Ajan Rajamohan, Michel Holscher, David Iheke and Harry Firth each received their varsity letter awards from head coach Bediako Swan. Firth went the distance between the pipes for the Wildcats and made two saves. Emmanuel Perez, Derek Bartlo and Gaetan Francois led Daemen with two shots each. GAME NOTES Today's contest marked the 10th all-time meeting between the two ECC rivals. STAC now own a 7-3 advantage in the series. Today's contest marked the final home game of the season for the Wildcats. UP NEXT The Wildcats return to action Wednesday (Oct. 25) when they take on crosstown rival D'Youville University at Dobson Field in Buffalo.
