Wildcats Keep Post Season Hopes Alive With 3-2 Win Over Saints

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Daemen University men's soccer team kept its post-season hopes alive with a 3-2 victory over D'Youville University this afternoon at Dobson Field. Daemen improved to 3-10-1 overall and 2-5-0 in the East Coast Conference, while the host Saints fell to 0-12-0 overall and 0-7-0 in the league.

The win leaves the Wildcats in seventh place in the league standings with one game to play. The top six teams advance to the ECC Championship tournament, which begins next week. Daemen trails sixth-place Molloy University (3-10-3, 2-4-1) by one point. The Wildcats will need to defeat Mercy University this Saturday, and hope that Molloy loses or draws with the College of Staten Island on Saturday.
