The Wildcats are unbeaten over their last 11 games (8-0-3), which ranks as the longest unbeaten streak in program history. HIGHLIGHTS The Wildcats opened the scoring just 4:40 into the contest after Miranto scored off a feed from junior defender Baylin Tighe (Tonawanda, N.Y.). It marked the second straight game that Miranto and Tighe teamed up for a goal. Daemen maintained the 1-0 lead and eventually took control of the game with two goals in the final 17 minutes of the first half. Miranto took a nice feed from freshman Magda Carpenter (Lebanon, Conn.) from the right corner and blasted a shot home from 20 yards out at 27:26 to put Daemen up 2-0. Miranto completed the hat trick in the 39th minute. She slipped just outside the DU box, but quickly recovered and then turned and fired a shot in from 25 yards out. Freshman Brianne Repolio (Haddon Heights, N.J.) picked up an assist on the goal. Both teams totaled seven shots in the second half, but neither team found the back of the net. The Wildcats finished with a 14-12 edge in total shots and an 8-6 advantage in shots on goal.
