FLUSHING, N.Y. -- The Daemen University men's tennis team fell to Queens College 7-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats fall to 4-11 on the season and 0-2 in East Coast Conference play, while Queens moved to 11-3 on the year and 1-1 in ECC play.
The Knights picked up the first point of the match after sweeping the doubles matches, as per NCAA Division II play. Queens went on to take all six of the singles matches, winning the match 7-0 to pick up their first conference win of the year. The Wildcats have not won a conference match this season.
Daemen will take on St. Thomas Aquinas in a double-header on Sunday. The Wildcats will play first at 10 AM then take on the Spartans at 1 PM.
