After playing one another eight days ago, the Daemen University women's soccer team welcomes Roberts Wesleyan University to Karrer Field for a rematch between the two local rivals with kick-off set for 1 p.m. Unlike their first meeting, this match will count towards East Coast Conference standings for both teams. On Saturday, the Wildcats will play Molloy University at 12 p.m. in the first meeting between the two sides since the 2023 ECC Championship.

WEEKLY HONORS
For the second consecutive week, the Daemen University women's soccer team took home a pair of weekly awards with juniors Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) and Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) getting named the East Coast Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week respectively, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Miranto recorded nine total points on four goals and one assist in a 2-0 conference week for the Wildcats. The Daemen junior forward scored twice in a 5-2 road win over Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday and registered two goals and an assist in a 3-0 road win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The Grand Island, N.Y., native, made five saves in a 5-2 road win over Roberts Wesleyan on Tuesday and eight saves en route to her first clean sheet of the season in a 3-0 road win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday.

LAST TIME VS THE REDHAWKS
Junior Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) scored twice to propel Damen University to a 5-2 victory over Roberts Wesleyan University in intercollegiate women's soccer action Sept. 24 at Roberts Stadium. Along with goals from Miranto, Alyssa Diaz (Rochester, N.Y.), Ramone Trentin (Sãl Leopoldo, Brazil) and Magda Carpenter (Lebanon, Conn.) also chipped in goals for the Cats. In net, junior Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) earned her second win of the year with a five save effort while Nicolette Knauf made six saves in the loss. Daemen has now won three of the last four contests against Roberts Wesleyan. However, the Redhawks still own a slim, 12-11-5, edge in the all-time series.

Junior Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) is ranked top-ten in the nation in multiple stat categories. The junior is also ranked second in the ECC for save percentage at .789.

FINALLY BACK HOME
After seven consecutive road games to begin the season, the Wildcats return home for the first time during the 2024 season. During the road swing, the Wildcats covered over 4,000 miles of travel and three states (New York, New Hampshire & Massachusetts). In their final three road games, Daemen outscored opponents, 13-4, and picked up a 3-0 shutout against St. Thomas Aquinas College in their final game of the road swing.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (4-3-1, 2-0 ECC)
In their last game, Ella White scored the lone goal of the game for the Redhawks as they defeated the College of Staten Island, 1-0, on Sept. 28. In net, Mia Tyndell made four saves for her second clean sheet of the year. In their last five games, the Redhawks are 2-2-1.

 SERIES HISTORY
The Redhawks still own a slim, 12-11-5, edge in the all-time series, but Daemen has won three of the last four meetings.
SCOUTING MOLLOY (2-4, 1-0 ECC)
