Women's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule 5/21/2026 10:00:00 AM By: CONTACT: Connor Griffin, Assistant Director of Athletics Communications | cgriffin@daemen.edu AMHERST, N.Y. — Daemen women's soccer head coach Dan Dolan has released the program's 2026 schedule. The Wildcats will play 16 games next season, including eight at home and eight on the road. Daemen begins its season with four straight contests at Royal Park. The Wildcats will host Malone on Aug. 27 in their season opener before welcoming Thomas More two days later. Post visits on Sept. 4, and the homestand wraps up against Tiffin on Sept. 6. The Wildcats are on the road for their next four games, kicking off with a trip to New England to take on Saint Anselm on Sept. 11 and Bentley on Sept. 13. ECC play begins the following weekend as the Wildcats travel to Molloy on Sept. 19. Daemen then heads back to Massachusetts to play American International for a Tuesday game on Sept. 22. Mercy will visit Royal Park on Sept. 26 for Daemen's first home ECC contest. The Wildcats then host crosstown rival D'Youville on Sept. 30 before making the trip downstate to battle Staten Island on Oct 3. Daemen heads to Roberts Wesleyan on Oct. 7 and hosts Queens three days later. The Wildcats welcome Franklin Pierce on Oct. 14, then take on D'Youville again on Oct. 21, this time on the road, in a non-ECC match, wrapping up non-conference action. The regular season concludes with an away contest against St. Thomas Aquinas on Oct. 24. The first round of the ECC Tournament is slated for Oct. 28. The semifinals will be held on Oct 31, and the final will be on Nov. 7. Daemen posted an 11-6-1 record last season, including a 4-2-1 ECC mark. The Wildcats defeated Queens in the first round of the ECC Tournament, but lost to Mercy in the semifinals. Daemen returns four All-ECC selections from last season, led by Kaitlyn Wright (Geneva, N.Y.) and Macayla Hansen (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), who were named to the first team. Kaitlin Mettler (Royalton, N.Y.) and Ava Thompson (East Amherst, N.Y.) garnered second-team accolades. Daemen University features the premier NCAA Division II athletics program in the Buffalo-Niagara region, sponsoring 17 intercollegiate teams.
