SEEING DOUBLE
Last year against Staten Island, the duo of Magda Carpenter (Lebanon, Conn.) and Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) each scored twice in the Wildcats 6-1 win over the Dolphins on Sept. 23. It marked the second multi-goal fame for Miranto of her career at the time while for Carpenter, it was the first of her career. For Miranto, she has scored three goals against the Dolphins in three prior meetings dating back to 2021.

BRICK WALL
Junior goalie Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) set a new career-high for saves with 15 against No. 10 Southern New Hampshire University on Sept. 17. The junior goalkeeper set a previous career-high earlier this season on Sept. 6 at Assumption University with a 14 save performance. Through four games, Schultz leads the ECC in both total saves with 37 and saves per game with an average of 9.25. Her 9.25 saves per game ranks seventh nationally while her 37 total saves rank fourth.

2023 RECAP
Last year under head coach Dan Dolan, the Wildcats qualified for the ECC Tournament for the third consecutive year after posting a 9-5-3 overall record and 6-1-1 mark in ECC play while putting together an 11-match unbeaten streak during the middle part of the season. Ranked as high as eighth in the East Region by the United Soccer Coaches last season, Daemen finished second in the final ECC regular season standings, the program's highest finish since joining the conference in 2013. Seven Wildcats also earned All-ECC honors with Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.), Magda Carpenter (Lebanon, Conn.), Madita Zeitz (Malsch, Germany) and Alyssa Diaz (Rochester, N.Y.) named to the first team, Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) tabbed to the second team with Brooke Amato (Grand Island, N.Y.) and Nevada Hahn (Lancaster, N.Y.) selected to the third team. ADD ANOTHER AWARD TO THE TROPHY CABINET
Reigning 2023 ECC Offensive Player of the Year Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) earned another accolade as she became the first Wildcat to be named ECC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. The junior compiled one of the best statistical seasons in program history, finishing the year ranked seventh nationally in both goals per game (0.94) and points per game (2.18) while leading the Wildcats and ECC in goals (16) and points (37). She also became the first D2CCA All-American in program history during Daemen's Division II-era (2015-present), earning a spot on the third team. The North Tonawanda, N.Y. native was also named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division II All-East Regional team and the 2023 ECC Offensive Player of the Year.
