Women's Bowling Places Third at Bobcat Baker Classic

GREENSBURG, PA. - The Daemen University women's bowling team secured a third-place finish at the Bobcat Baker Classic, hosted by Pitt Greensburg, in their first event of the 2025 calendar year. All four matches were played using Baker Format

Saint Vincent claimed first-place while Roberts Wesleyan came in second. Daemen rounded out the top three with their third-place finish. 

HIGHLIGHTS
• All four matches today were played using Baker Format.
• Daemen opened the day with a 980-853 setback to eventual tournament champions St. Vincent.
• The 'Cats rebounded in their second game of the day as they took down Pitt Greensburg, 823-777. After two close frames to start, the Wildcats defeated the host bobcats 203-161 in the third game and never looked back en route to their first win of the day. 
• Penn State Behrend bested the Blue and White in their third game of the day with a 923-725 decision. 
• In their final game of the day, the Wildcats tamed Roberts Wesleyan, 829-811. The 'Cats took the lead for good with a 189-150 win in game two and never relinquished their lead.

Daemen is back in action from Feb. 22-23 when they head to the Niagara Brunswick Spring Classic, hosted by Niagara University.
