Lock Haven secured the victory with two second-half goals, overcoming Daemen's early lead from a first-half goal. HIGHLIGHTS Axel Lozoya (Santa Fe, N.M.) broke the deadlock with a goal at 39:24, putting the home team ahead 1-0. Lozoya hit a shot from a tight angle that deflected off a Lock Haven player and went into the goal. Lock Haven equalized with a goal by Camden Marquette, assisted by Kyle Hoyt, at 44:07, leveling the score at 1-1 heading into halftime. Marquette scored again for the Bald Eagles in the 49th minute, giving them a 2-1 lead. Noah Brady found the back of the net in the 87th minute, assisted by Marquette and Jennings, putting the score at 3-1. Rayane Baitiche (Thionville, France) missed a shot to the right for the Wildcats in the 5th minute, setting an early offensive tone. In the 14th minute, Cristopher Vasquez (Sunnyside, N.Y.) saved a top-target shot from Lock Haven's Evan Jennings, maintaining a scoreless match. Amin Garcia (Leganes, Spain) had two shots in three minutes, but he could not capitalize. Daemen had five corners in the first half that it could not convert. Lozoya attempted a shot in the 52nd minute, but it was saved by Reece Kordes. Baitiche and Lozoya also fired shots 40 seconds apart in the 60th minute, with Baitiche putting his off target and Lozoya getting his saved. Stevie Varallo (Wilson, N.Y.) had one final chance for the Wildcats in the 86th minute, but he put it off target. GAME NOTES Lozoya's goal was the first of his career. Vasquez made his first career start between the pipes. He recorded five saves in the match, facing 18 shots throughout the game. Lozoya contributed offensively with one goal from three shots, all of which were on target. Garcia registered three shots, with two of them being on goal. Baitiche also added to the offensive efforts with two shots during the match.
