Leading the way in the running events was Patsy Oberholzer (Greece, N.Y.), who placed ninth in the 5000m, while Lia Brasacchio (Victor, N.Y.) earned a PR in the 500m. Skylar Savage (Attica, N.Y.) finished tied for 12th in the long jump. HIGHLIGHTS Oberholzer crossed the finish line in 18:49.55 during the 5000m run to earn ninth. She finished 11 seconds ahead of the next runner and was two seconds off from her personal-best time. Kylie Piekarski (Lancaster, N.Y.) also competed in the 5000, coming in 27th place with a time of 20:11.57. In the 60m dash qualifying, Mia Wright (Liverpool, N.Y.) took 18th place, finishing in 8.29 seconds. Savage placed 31st with a time of 8.44 seconds, while Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) finished tied for 38th, crossing the finish line in 8.60 seconds. Brasacchio placed 12th in the 500m dash with a personal-best time of 1:22.93. She took three seconds off her previous PR. In the jump pit, Savage finished tied for 12th in the long jump with a leap of 5.12m. Schultz came in 43rd with a jump of 4.14m. UP NEXT The Wildcats are back in action Saturday, competing at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup.
