Bouley led the scoring with eight goals and two assists for 10 points, while collecting a career-high 10 draw controls. Shannen Calandra (Rome, N.Y.) added three goals, including the game-winner, and contributed two assists. Avery Castner (Penn Yan, N.Y.) recorded five goals and two assists. Maria Salvo (Clarence, N.Y.) tallied four goals and one assist, with one of her goals coming from a free position. Jenna Havert (Newark, N.Y.) led the defensive efforts with three caused turnovers while scooping up six ground balls. Bouley also caused three turnovers and collected three ground balls. Daemen fell to IUP 19-10 on the road last Wednesday. Bouley scored two goals on five shots while Calandra contributed four points (2G, 2A). Avery Castner (Penn Yan, N.Y.) also added two goals. Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) led the defensive efforts with three caused turnovers and two ground balls. MAKING HISTORY Bouley broke the program record for goals (8) and points (10) in a game during the win over Tiffin on Saturday. The previous records were seven goals, held by current assistant coach Dana Bacher, and 9 points, held by Casey Decatur. Castner also surpassed 100 career points against Tiffin, becoming the second player in program history to achieve the feat. BOULEY EARNS ECC WEEKLY HONOR Following her record-breaking performance, Bouley was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Bouley tallied 12 points with 10 goals and two assists, collected 18 draw controls, and scooped up four ground balls in two games last week. The midfielder recorded two goals and corralled eight draw controls against IUP last Wednesday. On Saturday against Tiffin, Bouley led the Wildcats and broke the program record for goals (8) and points (10) in a game, posted a career-best 10 draw controls, and scooped up three ground balls to help Daemen defeat Tiffin. SCORING IN BUNCHES The Wildcats have scored 68 goals in their first five games of the season, averaging 13.60 per game. Among the top performances are the Wildcats' 14 goals against Walsh, 16 against Lake Erie, and a season-high 21 against Tiffin. Leading the way are Bouley and Castner with 14 goals each, while Salvo follows closely with 13. Bouley and Castner are tied for fourth in the conference in goals per game (2.80), while Salvo is sixth (2.60). IN THE RANKINGS Daemen currently leads the ECC in goals per game (13.60) and sits second in total ground balls (84) and third in caused turnovers (46). The Wildcats' 33 assists rank tied for second in the conference. SCOUTING GANNON (2-3, 0-0 PSAC) The Golden Knights are coming off a 14-13 road win at Tusculum on March 3 after falling 14-13 to Lincoln Memorial on Feb. 28. Isabella Veltre is the team leader in goals (18), assists (6), and points (24). Charlie Hunter has 18 points with 14 goals and four assists. Defensively, Hunter also leads the squad with 10 caused turnovers while scooping up 14 ground balls. Goalie Riley Finnegan has started all five games, posting a 1-2 record, a 13.29 goals-against average, and a 42.3% save percentage. SERIES HISTORY The Wildcats are 1-2 against Gannon. Daemen lost 12-10 on the road last season and 15-8 in 2024.
