Daemen has already tied its win total from last season and is off to the best start in program history. LAST TIME OUT Daemen earned an 18-8 victory over Gannon on Wednesday afternoon at Royal Park. The Wildcats' offense was dominant across all four quarters, netting 18 goals on 34 shots. The home team capitalized on three woman-up goals and maintained control with 14 draw controls. Maria Salvo (Clarence, N.Y.) led Daemen with an impressive six goals, including three free-position conversions. Ella Bouley (Auburn, N.Y.) contributed two goals on five shots, including the game-winner, and added an assist. Shannen Calandra (Rome, N.Y.) showcased her playmaking ability by tallying one goal and four assists. Sadie Schlesselman (Lancaster, N.Y.) added two goals, one on a woman-up. Defensively, Bouley, Avery Castner (Penn Yan, N.Y.), and Jenna Havert (Newark, N.Y.) each caused one turnover and collected two ground balls. Freshman goalie Mia Caryl (Marcellus, N.Y.) made nine saves in her first career start, earning her first career win. MAKING HISTORY Bouley scored her 100th career goal against Gannon on Wednesday. The senior also broke the program record for goals (8) and points (10) in a game during the win over Tiffin last Saturday. Castner also surpassed 100 career points against Tiffin, becoming the second player in program history to achieve the feat, along with Bouley. BOULEY EARNS ECC WEEKLY HONOR Following her record-breaking performance last Saturday, Bouley was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Bouley tallied 12 points with 10 goals and two assists, collected 18 draw controls, and scooped up four ground balls in two games last week. The midfielder recorded two goals and corralled eight draw controls against IUP last Wednesday. On Saturday against Tiffin, Bouley led the Wildcats and broke the program record for goals (8) and points (10) in a game, posted a career-best 10 draw controls, and scooped up three ground balls to help Daemen defeat Tiffin. SCORING IN BUNCHES The Wildcats have scored 86 goals in their first six games of the season, averaging 14.33 per game. Among the top performances are the Wildcats' 14 goals against Walsh, 16 against Lake Erie, 18 against Gannon, and a season-high 21 against Tiffin. Leading the way is Salvo with 19 after her six-goal performance against Gannon. Bouley has 16, while Castner follows closely with 15. Salvo ranks second in the ECC in goals per game (3.17). Bouley is fourth (2.67) while Castner (2.50) is tied for fifth. Salvo is also second in points per game (3.83), while Calandra and Bouley are tied for sixth (3.33). IN THE RANKINGS Daemen currently leads the ECC in goals per game (14.33) and points per game (21.17). The Wildcats also sit second in total ground balls (93) and third in caused turnovers (50). Daemen's 41 assists rank second in the conference. SCOUTING FRANKLIN PIERCE (2-3, 0-0 NE10) The Ravens are coming off a 17-8 loss to Jefferson on Wednesday after defeating Saint Michael's 12-11 in a non-conference tilt on March 4. Erin Mcllroy leads the team in goals (14) and points (16). Olivia Robb has tallied 13 points with 10 goals and three assists. Mcllroy also leads the squad in caused turnovers (9) and draw controls (22). Rachel Taylor has collected a team-best 13 ground balls while causing nine turnovers. Goalie Olivia Godwin has started all five games, posting a 2-3 record, a 13.62 goals-against average, and a .346 save percentage. SERIES HISTORY This is the first meeting between the programs.  SCOUTING SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE (3-3, 1-0 NE10) The Penmen earned a 13-9 victory over Saint Michael's in their NE10 opener on Wednesday. SNHU also fell 12-4 to Thomas Jefferson on Monday. Piper Knowlton leads the team in goals (18) and points (25), while sitting tied for the lead in assists (7) with Natalie Bosselman. Brynn Goulet has tallied 20 points with 15 goals and five assists. Delaney Ramalho has posted a team-best 10 caused turnovers while scooping up 10 ground balls. Goalie Corrina Moutlon has started four games, posting a 3-1 record, a 10.81 goals-against average, and a .514 save percentage. She also leads SNHU with 12 ground balls and has caused three turnovers. SERIES HISTORY This is the first meeting between the programs.
