Va | University of Charleston Stadium Live Scoring AMHERST, N.Y. — The Daemen men's and women's track & field teams begin their outdoor seasons on Friday, heading to West Virginia to compete at the Charleston Golden Eagle Invitational. Daemen aims to maintain its momentum from the indoor season. The men's team earned three gold medals at the ECC Indoor Championships, while the women logged 14 top-10 finishes, including five top-five results. The Wildcat men return three medalists from the 2025 ECC Outdoor Championships in Adam Kamagate (Hilton, N.Y.), CJ Johnson (Baltimore, Md.), and Ethan Keating (Wooster, Ohio). Kamagate won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.18 seconds. Johnson earned a silver medal in the 1,500 meters, finishing in 3:58.66. Keating claimed second in the 5,000 meters, posting a time of 16:09.66. Daemen's 4x800 meter relay team also earned a silver medal, which included returners Johnson, Josh Trometer (Lancaster, N.Y.), and Brad Tobin (Hamburg, N.Y.). On the women's side, Kristen Oliver (Massena, N.Y.) and Patsy Oberholzer (Greece, N.Y.) are the two returning medalists from last season's ECC Outdoor Championships. Oliver placed second overall in the hammer throw with a final distance of 46.15 meters. Oberhholzer finished third in the 10,000 meters with a time of 42:07.86. Daemen's outdoor schedule will continue next weekend at the Brockport Multi. The Wildcats will also compete at the University at Buffalo Alumni Invitational on April 17 and the Cardinal Classic, hosted by St. John Fisher, on April 25. The ECC Outdoor Championships will be held on Thursday, April 30, in Rochester, N.Y., and hosted by Roberts Wesleyan.
