AMHERST, N.Y. -- The Daemen University men's tennis team picked up a 5-2 victory over Houghton University on Tuesday evening. With the win, The Wildcats snap a seven-match losing skid and improve to 4-13 on the year.

The Wildcats earned the first point of the match by winning two of three doubles matches. At No. 2 doubles, junior Lucas Garcia (Bogota, Columbia) and sophomore Riley Fitzgerald (Auburn, N.Y.) collected a 6-1 win over Preston Tobalski and Jason Murphy to seal the first point for the Wildcats.
