CLARION, PA - The Daemen College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat on the road today, falling to the Clarion Golden Eagles of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and NCAA Division II. With the loss, Daemen falls to 0-4 in the team's first season of existence while Clarion improves to 1-0.

Daemen's best chance to snag a point came in #1 singles where freshman Shaylah Iverson (Canandaigua, NY/Naples HS) came close but dropped the match 6-4, 6-4.

Daemen opens the home portion of their schedule this coming Saturday when they host Fredonia State at the Ellicott Courts on the campus of the University at Buffalo.
