GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's tennis team fell to 1-6 on the season after a 9-0 loss on the road to Adelphi University today.
Adelphi, of NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference, improved to 3-1 with the victory.
Daemen's No. 1 doubles team of Gregory Lowe (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) and Zach Kinnaird (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) and its No. 3 doubles team of Gary Arruda (Brampton, Ont./St. Augustine's) and Alex White (Norwich, N.Y./Norwich) provided the Wildcats' best chance at points but each fell 8-2 in their respective matches.
The Wildcats are back in action tomorrow when they face Dowling College at 5 p.m. at the Hempstead Lake Indoor Tennis Center.
