AMHERST, N.Y. - It was a tough home-coming for the Daemen College women's tennis team who, playing just their second home match since last October, fell to Molloy College 9-0 this afternoon at the Ellicott Tennis Courts.
Freshman
Shaylah Iverson (Canandaigua, N.Y./Naples) put up a battle in the No. 1 singles slot with Molloy's Nikki Gloria, but fell 6-3, 6-4.
Daemen drops to 1-13 in its inaugural season while Molloy, of the East Coast Conference, improves to 8-9 in its season finale.
The Wildcats will host Keuka College next Sunday (April 21) in its final match of the season at the Ellicott Tennis Courts.
