FULL RESULTS

OBERLIN, Ohio - The duo of second-year runners Mackenzie Donahue (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) and Hannah Rice (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) paced the Daemen College women's cross country team once again today as the Wildcats raced at the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College, the team's first action in two weeks.

Donahue finished the 6K race in 23:52.4 to finish in fourth place overall, out of 134 total entrants. For Donahue, it was a return to the top-10 of a race's individual standings after her streak of eight-straight such finishes was snapped earlier this season. She now has nine top-10 finishes in her 11 career races, and she's been Daemen's top finisher 10 times in the last two seasons, including in each of the team's last four races.

Not to be overshadowed was the performance of Rice who came in sixth place with her time of 24:21.7. It was Rice's second top-10 finish of the season and the fourth of her career.

Amy Trabert (Amherst, N.Y./Amherst), Brooke Nolan (Depew, N.Y./Depew) and Wendy Neville (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois Central) rounded out the Wildcats' top five finishers today, coming in 24th, 28th and 30th places, respectively.

Today's race was not scored for team totals.

The Wildcats will close out their 2014 season on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the East Coast Conference Championships held on the campus of Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N.Y.
