CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Daemen College men's tennis team dropped 9-0 decision to Cedarville University, a member of the NCAA Division II Midwest Athletic Conference.

With the loss, Daemen falls to 2-3 on the season while the Yellow Jackets improved to 3-2 on the year. Despite the result, it was a positive step for the program, according to head coach Stephen Beatty.

"I was super happy with how the guys competed today, they fought for every point and a lot of these matches were closer than the score appeared," Beatty said "We just couldn't covert on opportunities but we will continue to work on things we need to improve upon."

The Wildcats will be back in action tomorrow (Feb. 16) as they travel to Wittenberg University to take on the Tigers at 9 a.m.
