WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's tennis team dropped 9-0 decision to NCAA Division II and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference member, Edinboro University. With the loss, Daemen falls to 7-15 on the season while the Fighting Scots improved to 15-8 overall.
"We played a tough team today but I am happy with the progress that both teams have made all year," said head coach
Stephen Beatty. "It's been a long season for the men and we look forward to our last match of the year against Roberts tomorrow."
Daemen's best chance to snag a point came in No. 2 singles where sophomore
Gregory Lowe (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) put up a fight but dropped the match 6-3, 6-3.
The Wildcats will look for their last win of the season when they host East Coast Conference rival, Roberts Wesleyan College tomorrow (Apr. 15) for a 4 p.m. match at the Park Country Club.
