WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's tennis team hosted their first match of the season today, winning 6-3 to the visiting SUNY-Oswego Lakers of NCAA Division III and the Eastern College Athletic Conference at the Park Country Club Courts. The Wildcats now lead 2-1 in the series with Oswego as they dropped a 5-4 match in the team's first season of existence but defeated the Lakers 6-3 last season.

"I am really happy with how we have practiced up until today's match," head coach Stephen Beatty said. "We played really well and I am looking forward to seeing how good this team can get this year."
