| ON THE SIDELINES |
Daemen: Bobby McColl enters his first season at the helm for Daemen after spending the last three seasons as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Roberts Wesleyan College...McColl's tenure at Roberts Wesleyan notably came during that program's ascent to the NCAA Division II level of competition, compiling a 35-20-5 record in that span, including a 12-5-3 mark last season in which McColl led the Redhawks to an apparance in the East Coast Conference Tournament finals and at-large berth in the NCAA Division II National Championships....prior to his time in Rochester, McColl served for one season as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Greenville College (Ill.), leading that NCAA Division III program to a 10-6-3 mark and a second-place finish in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference...a native of Glasgow, Scotland, McColl came stateside to compete collegiately, playing three season at Union University (Tenn.) before finishing his career at Trinity International University (Ill.).
California: Emedin Sabic is in his fourth season as the head coach of the Cal Vulcans...over his first three seasons, Sabic has led the Vulcans to a 22-28-3 overall record...last season was Sabic's most successul as the Vulcans went 9-7-1 overall and 6-4-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference...the Vulcans have qualified for the PSAC Tournament in each of the last two seasons under Sabic's leadership...Sabic first came to Cal as a player from 2003-06, and he joined the coaching staff for the Vulcans' women's soccer program in 2007, coaching with them until joining the men's staff as an assistant in 2010...he was promoted to the top post prior to the 2013 season, taking over for Dennis Laskey who ranks second in PSAC history with 258 wins.

D'Youville: Brendan Murphy is in his fourth season as the fifth head coach in team history at D'Youville...after going 0-18 in his first season, Murphy was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year in 2014 after leading the Spartans to their first-ever appearance in the AMCC Tournament...to date, Murphy holds a record of 6-45-3 with the Spartans...additional collegiate coaching stops for Murphy have been as an assistant at Buffalo, Niagara and Buffalo State. |

| DAEMEN SCOUTING REPORT (0-3-0, 0-0-0 ECC) |
| Daemen returns 13 players from last year's team that finished 2-13-1 overall and 0-9-1 in the East Coast Conference…first-year head coach Bobby McColl returns the team's top two scorers and starting goalkeeper from last year...…sophomore Kyle Tracy and senior Alex Reid shared the team lead in scoring last season, both posting 10 points....Tracy's point total came on his team-leading five goals...Reid has scored 13 goals in his career and totaled 33 points heading into his final season for the Wildcats...sophomore net-minder Justin Figler played every second of every game last season as a true freshman, finishing second in the ECC with 88 saves...also back is senior forward Cole Beale who notched a team-high five goals and 11 points in 2014…in the midfield, Daemen returns a pair of veterans in Nick Sammarco and Logan Podrebarac...Sammarco has made 34 starts in his career to date while Podrebarac started in 14 of his 15 appearances last season while posting five points...senior Austin Stephany returns to anchor the Wildcat defense...he's made 30 appearances in the last two seasons, including 29 starts, since transferring from Division I Buffalo...newcomers who are expected to make an immediate impact include senior forward Colin Edwards, a transfer from Tiffin University, and freshmen backs Kyle White and Joe Keem...Daemen was picked 10th in the 2016 ECC preseason poll...the Wildcats opened the 2016 season with a pair of home losses last week, falling 3-1 to Lock Haven on Sept. 1 and 2-1 in double overtime to Ashland on Sept. 3...freshman back Nate Louk netted the Wildcats' lone goal in the loss to Lock Haven...Beale scored in the 88th minute vs. Ashland to send the game to overtime...it was the ninth goal of his career...Figler made eight saves in the loss to Ashland, and he ranks first among ECC goalkeepers with 14 saves so far this season...the Wildcats are coming off a 4-0 loss at Le Moyne on Labor Day...Reid has yet to make his season debut as he works his way back from an injury. |

| CALIFORNIA SCOUTING REPORT (2-0-0, 1-0-0 PSAC) |
| Cal returns 15 players from last year's team that finished 9-7-1 overall and 6-4-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play...the 2015 season marked the Vulcans' first winning season, both overall and in PSAC play, since 2012...the 2015 season included the Vulcans' second straight PSAC Tournament appearance...among the Vulcans' returners this season is sophomore goalkeeper Lucas Exner who earned first-team All-PSAC and PSAC Freshman of the Year honors last season...Lexner, who recorded three shutouts last season, ranked third among all PSAC goalies in saves per game (4.93) and fourth in goals-against average (1.29) and save percentage (.802)...also returning to the Cal lineup are two second-team All-PSAC picks from last season - sophomore midfielder Eric Campbell and senior back Eleazar Luciano...Campbell finished second on the team in goals (6) and third in points (13)...the Vuclans ranked third in the PSAC last season in goals per game (1.82) while also being the fifth-stingiest team, allowing just 1.35 goals per game...Cal was picked thus sixth in the PSAC preseason poll...so far in 2016, the Vulcans are 2-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in PSAC play...they opened the season with a 2-1 defeat of West Virginia Wesleyan, and are coming off a 2-0 shutout of Seton Hill in their PSAC opener on Wednesday...Campbell and freshman forward Cooper Amos have supplied the offense thus far, accounting for all four of the team's goals...Exner has made nine total saves, including four in the shutout of Seton Hill. |

| D'Youville is a member of NCAA Division III and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference...the Spartans return 10 players from their 2015 squad which went 2-14-1 and 1-7-1 in AMCC play...leading the Spartan returners is sophomore back Josh Hammer who earned third-team All-AMCC honors after posting three points on one goal and one assist last season...DYC's leading returning scorer is senior midfielder Pat Mann...Mann finished second on the team last season with five points (2 gls, 1 ast)...the Spartans are looking to replace starting goalkeeper Brett Matthews who was lost to graduation...junior Peter Petruzzo returns after appearing in three contests between the pipes last season...the Spartans were picked ninth in the AMCC preseason poll...so far this season, DYC is still looking to get on the scoreboard after suffering defeats to Penn State-Harrisburg (2-0) and Thiel (5-0)...freshman forward Hunter Sherman leads the team with eight total shots thus far...Petruzzo has gotten the nod between the pipes in both outings, and freshman Corey Sikora has seen 45 minutes worth of action there too...DYC visits Nazareth on Friday before hosting Daemen on Sunday. |

Sept. 10: Matt Daddario made nine saves in a 4-0 loss at Le Moyne in 2014...Kyle Clifford placed all 10 of his shot attempts on frame and recorded a hat trick as the Daemen offense erupted in a 9-0 win over Fisher in 2011...Trevor Hill scored a first-half goal but Daemen fell 4-1 to Kenyon in 2010.
Sept. 11: Kyle Tracy scored twice but it wasn't enough as Daemen fell 3-2 to Stonehill in 2015...Jason Hartman made seven saves and Erik Tellgren scored twice, including the game-winner in double overtime as Daemen downed Wilmington 2-1...Kevin Bryerton scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Keuka in 2007. |
