| Stephen Beatty enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Wildcats...over the course of his first three seasons, Beatty has guided the Daemen men's tennis team to a 19-49 record...a former collegiate player at Division II Northwood University (Mich.) and Division III D'Youville College, Beatty got his coaching start as an assistant to Kelly Brown, serving for one season - Daemen's inaugural season of tennis competition - before being promoted to the top post. |

| Daemen returns 11 players from last year's team that finished 5-17 overall and 0-5 in the East Coast Conference...gone is familiar face Gregory Lowe who was lost to graduation, leaving as the program's all-time leader in singles victories (32), total singles matches (77), singles winning percentage (.427), doubles victories (30), total doubles matches (77) and doubles winning percentage (.400)...among the returners is Mark Veitengruber who went 13-16 in singles play last season, establishing a new team record for singles wins in a season...also, senior John LeMar returns...the Wildcats also return sophomore David Gonzalez Villegas who went 6-9 in singles and 7-10 in doubles last season...his season was interrupted by an injury at the end of the fall season, but his return to the lineup late in the spring coincided with Daemen winning three of their final five dual matches of the season...LeMar teamed with his brother, red-shirt sophomore Andrew LeMar, to win 8-0 in second doubles during Daemen's 7-2 defeat of Salem International on Feb. 17, securing the elder LeMar's 30th career doubles win to tie Lowe's program record...John LeMar also picked up his 25th career singles win in the match vs. SIU...Daemen enters this weekend's action having dropped four-straight matches, including a pair of 6-3 defeats last weekend to Davis & Elkins and Le Moyne...sophomore Justin Milner has won four of his last five singles matches...newcomer Ricardo Ruiz Martinez, a Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team selection last season while playing at American International, has been impressive since transferring to Daemen prior to the spring season...he holds a singles victory over Mercyhurst's Joaquin Aguilera, a 2015-16 All-PSAC selection, from earl February..the Wildcats were picked sixth in the ECC preseason poll. |

| Post is located in Waterbury, Conn. and the Eagles are members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference...the Eagles are led by eighth-year head coach Rob Howard, a former collegiate player at the University of Texas...Post returns just three players from its 2015-16 team which went 9-12 overall and 1-5 in CACC play...among the returners is junior Nikola Crvelin who earned first-team All-CACC honors last season after posting a 16-5 mark in singles play and a 12-9 record in doubles action...the Eagles are just 1-1 on the season and Saturday's match at Daemen marks their first action since a 9-0 loss to Southern New Hampshire back on Oct. 16...the Eagles opened the fall season by partaking in the ITA East Regional Championships and went on to defeat West Chester 6-3 in their dual-match opener. |

| Millersville is located in southeastern Pennsylvania between Harrisburg and Philadelphia and the Marauders are members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference...Matt Helsel, who totaled 14 conference championships and 11 NCAA Division III tournament appearances while coaching both the men's and women's teams at Elizabethtown, is in his first season at the helm of the Marauders...Millersville brings back three players from its 2015-16 team which went 1-13 overall and 0-5 in PSAC play...leading the returners is senior Christian Boyer and sophomore Christian Akerley who tied for the team lead in singles (3) and doubles (4) wins last season...the Marauders will be making their spring season debut this weekend, playing at Mercyhurst (Friday) and Edinboro (Saturday) before facing Daemen to round out a three-match road trip. |
