Women's Tennis Spring Schedule Released 12/7/2018 12:40:00 PM By: By Mike Miranto, Sr. Associate A.D. for External Operations & Communications AMHERST, N.Y. - The Daemen College women's tennis team will resume its 2018-19 season on Saturday, Feb. 16 when they'll host Walsh University in a non-conference dual match at Miller Tennis Center. Head coach Kerry McDermott announced the team's 11-match spring schedule today. The Wildcats will be logging miles as 10 of the 11 matches will be played away from home. Highlights of the team's spring schedule include: Non-conference road match at regional rival Le Moyne on Feb. 23. Road matches in four states: New York, West Virginia, California & Pennsylvania. The team's first-ever trip to California where they'll face Angelo State on Tuesday, Mar. 12; additional matches still may be added on this trip. Two matches against NCAA Division I opponents: at St. Bonaventure University on Mar. 10 and at Niagara University on Apr. 23. For a complete look at the Wildcats' 2018-19 schedule, click HERE. The Wildcats' roster includes senior Jessica Robins (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) and sophomore Christina Stasiuk (Bowmansville, N.Y.) who rank third and sixth, respectively, among Daemen's career leaders in combined singles and doubles victories. The roster has also been bolstered by the addition of Andrea D'Sa (Bellmore, N.Y.) and Sarah Kenny (Perth, Australia).
