Wildcats Close Out Season at UB Invitational

2019 UB INVITATIONAL — FULL RESULTS

AMHERST, N.Y. - The Daemen College women's track and field team concluded its 2019 outdoor season today by partaking in the University at Buffalo Invitational held at UB Stadium. It marked the fourth consecutive year that the Wildcats have participated in the meet, which took place less than five miles away from the Daemen campus.

Daemen sent a limited number of competitors to take part in today's meet, with the Wildcats represented in just four of the 18 events.

Sophomore Savannah Warner (Elma, N.Y.) turned in a solid effort during the 800 meter run, placing eighth out of 19 runners with a time of 2:27.02. Freshmen Sarah Golas (Alden, N.Y.) and Monahe Marchione (Buffalo, N.Y.) and sophomore Danielle Juby (Ilion, N.Y.) also competed during the track events. Golas placed 16th in the 1,500 meters (5:50.05), while Juby and Marchione finished 13th and 15th respectively in the 400 meter dash with times of 1:05.89 and 1:09.09.

Sophomore Betty Jones (Camillus, N.Y.) was the lone Daemen competitor during the field events, as she took part in the hammer throw and placed fifth with a toss of 33.11 meters.
