HIGHLANDER INVITATIONAL — FULL RESULTS
HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The Daemen College women's track and field team resumed its 2021-22 indoor season by taking part in the Highlander Invitational held today on the campus of Houghton College.
A solid showing in the mile run highlighted the track portion of the day for Daemen, as graduate student Kassandra Nolet (Fort Erie, Ont.), junior Courtney Merrill (Speedway, Ind.), freshman Emma Cain (Lockport, N.Y.) and sophomore Camryn Bailey (Geneva, N.Y.) all placed among the top 11 finishers in a race that featured 44 runners. Senior Hannah Thomas (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) and sophomore Haley Hinds (Blossvale, N.Y.) also posted top-10 finishes in the 800 meters, while a school-record effort by freshman Sydney Taylor (Brockport, N.Y.) in the high jump highlighted the Daemen field events.
