Rain Puts A Damper On Women's Tennis Season Opener

Box Score MEADVILLE, Pa. - Inclement weather in the Meadville, Pa. area forced the cancelation of several matches today and the cancelation of all matches for tomorrow (Sept. 4) at the Allegheny Invitational. The two-day event was the 2022-23 season opener for the Daemen University women's tennis team.

The Wildcats return to action next weekend when they travel to Central New York to take on Le Moyne College (Sept. 10) and William Smith College (Sept. 11).

Daemen University features the premier NCAA Division II athletics program in the Buffalo-Niagara region, sponsoring 17 intercollegiate teams.
