HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The Daemen University women's track and field team opened its 2023-24 indoor season by taking part in the Houghton December Classic held Friday night (Dec. 1) at the Kerr-Pegula Field House on the campus of Houghton University.

A first-place finish by graduate student Hannah Thomas (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) in the 800-meter run and a third-place effort by sophomore Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) in the 60 meter hurdles highlighted the evening for the Wildcats.
