LAST TIME OUT

St. Thomas Aquinas opened the contest by winning on all three doubles courts to secure the first point of the match. Moving to singles, 2023 All-ECC First Team Kitsa Scime (Williamsville, N.Y.) battled fellow first team selection Elita Silins at No. 2 singles, but ultimately lost, 6-2, 6-3.  At No.3 singles, senior Yinett Del Leon (Cape Coral, Fla.) opened her match by taking an early 2-0 lead against Elisa Semmartin. Still, Semmartin came back to win the first set, 6-3 and eventually the match by a final score of 6-3, 6-0. The Spartans swept the remaining matches to seal the 7-0 victory.

CLOSING IN ON HISTORY
Scime currently sits six wins away from claiming the program record for singles wins with 50.
