LAST TIME ON THE COURT
The Daemen University women's tennis team closed out the month of September with a 5-2 win over SUNY Fredonia in intercollegiate women's tennis action on Sept. 28 at the Steele Hall Courts. The Wildcats won all three doubles match and at singles, senior Kitsa Scime (Williamsville, N.Y.) earned her sixth singles win of the season and 44th of her career with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Bernadette Gens. Playing No. 2 singles for the first time in her Daemen career, freshman Stephanie Baier (Boise, Idaho) collected a 6-0, 6-0, sweep over Lucy Prevet while Gietmann made her first appearance for the Blue and White since Sept. 10 at Nazareth University and earned her second collegiate singles win with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles. Scime currently sits six wins away from claiming the program record for singles wins with 50.
